Crisis On Infinite Earths, Part 1: What Does The Ending Really Mean?

1. Oliver Queen Is Dead (Or Is He?)

Even as an army of Shadow Demons surrounded him; even as The Monitor attempted to get him to safety, Oliver Queen remained as defiant as ever, shooting arrows left right and centre as if his life depended on it - because, quite frankly, it did (as did 7.53 billion others). If he was going down, he was going down swinging - and that's exactly what he did.

Oliver's tearful farewell to Barry, Kara, Sara, Mia and the others was a touching moment that allowed the unfathomable to set in - the Green Arrow was about to take his last breath. And as he did so, we found ourselves feeling a mix of emotions from pride to heartbreak for our beloved Emerald Archer.

But is our triumphant hero really dead? Well, that remains to be seen. It's too soon to lose one of the founding fathers of the Arrowverse in a crossover this huge, so we certainly haven't seen the last of Stephen Amell. With Earth-16's Oliver Queen still out there and an Arrow-centric offering of Crisis that will feature the original Laurel Lance, anything and everything remains possible in Crisis On Infinite Earths.
