Crisis On Infinite Earths, Part 3: What Does The Ending Really Mean?

3. Oliver Is Now The Spectre

Many of us wondered if we had seen the last of the Green Arrow when Oliver succumbed to his wounds following a fight to the death with a ton of Shadow Demons, but the determination of his loved ones to resurrect him suggested otherwise. Yes, Mia, Barry, John and Sara all enlisted the help of John Constantine (who then enlisted the help of Lucifer Morningstar) and managed to resurrect him using the Lazarus Pit while also reclaiming his soul.

However, before Oliver could leave Purgatory, he was confronted by Jim Corrigan (a.k.a. The Spectre) who told him that it was his time to carry the mantle, and that he must do so in order to save the multiverse.

Fans of the comics will know that the Spectre plays a pivotal role in Crisis On Infinite Earths, so you can rest assured that the new all-powerful version of Oliver Queen will be booking a date with the Anti-Monitor very, very soon.
