Curb Your Enthusiasm: 10 Funniest Susie Moments

8. Burial Plots – Freak Book (Season 6, Episode 5)

If being a member of Larry's irritable social circle was not enough punishment, imagine being bound to him for eternity. The issue of life after death was the basis of yet another classic argument between Larry and Susie, with Susie understandably taking issue with Larry's efforts to rearrange the friend group's cemetery plots.

After a dispute involving a drunken chauffeur and freak book at Ted Danson's birthday party, Larry decides to escalate the brewing feud by exploring his options for the afterlife. Whilst the easy-going Cheryl agrees to switch burial plots, Larry now faces the impossible task of trying to persuade Susie to agree to the new burial plot layout.

Larry is clever with his approach, sucking up to Susie's narcissistic side by complimenting her style and looks. Cheryl quickly realises what Larry is doing and it does not take too much longer for Susie to also grasp the deceitful nature of Larry's false praise.

Quietly hinting at the possibility of a burial plot rearrangement, Larry's efforts are promptly shut down by Susie. Without mincing words, Susie declares that she has no interest in being by Larry's side for eternity, before calling out Larry for his incessant crap. Susie's rebuttal is a brutal and hilarious deconstruction of Larry's everyday selfishness.
