Cursed Review: 6 Ups & 4 Downs

1. The Impressive Production Values

Though the show's visual effects could certainly be more consistent, there's no denying that Cursed is for the most part a sharply-produced, dapper-looking fantasy series.

Sure, it's not quite on the top-level standard of The Witcher or Game of Thrones, but more often than not it's a beautifully filmed and really quite ravishing fantasy series.

Hell, even the animated opening title sequence is visually stunning enough that you might find yourself voluntarily sitting through it during the entire season - it's that good.

While Netflix would do well to boost the CGI budget for season two, otherwise Cursed lives up to the high production standard set by Netflix's Originals line-up.
