Daredevil: 10 Marvel Heroes That Must Be Adapted For TV Next
2. Captain Britain
Okay, he might not be quite as glamorous as Captain America (his real name, Brian Braddock, is dull even by comic book standards), but Captain Britain was an A-list superhero once upon a time. Charged with defending the vale of Avalon or at least the Earth-616 version he's essentially Captain Marvel with a Union Jack. Alan Moore wrote for him! If all of this sounds a bit UKIP-y, Brian certainly isn't a xenophobic figure: he roomed with Peter Parker in New York, both unaware of each others' identities, and was even a member of the European Defence Initiative, which is basically the EU with superpowers. He was even cursed with the "Blunder Factor", which admittedly sounds less Scarlet Witch and more Hugh Grant. While there might not be the demand for a quintessentially British superhero across the pond, Captain Britain feels like he belongs on the BBC. If the Beeb could somehow work out a deal with Marvel, they could find themselves with the perfect home-grown superhero. Who knows, maybe they could even entice Moore on board, unlikely as it sounds; try offering him a Hobnob or something.
