Daredevil: 11 Most Fan-Pleasing Moments From Season 2
"See you around, Red."
Wow. Just, wow. Without degrading this piece too much into the realm of unfettered fanboy adulation or hysteria, I think it's safe to say that Daredevil Season 2 was a major hit. Apart from the fact that the Man Without Fear himself is Marvel's best property, Netflix's penchant for all things costumed and gritty was really best exemplified by this season in particular, with Daredevil now dealing with Marvel's anti-heroes most synonymous with its relatively untraversed seedy underbelly. Frank Castle, Elektra and The Hand really helped raise the stakes of the series this time around, and with that came some truly awe-inspiring moments - both action-oriented and not. Though Netflix's adaptation of Stan Lee and Bill Everett's creation may deviate from the source material in certain instances, its abundance of Easter Eggs, quality drama and action really cements Daredevil's status as being the preeminent on-screen superhero presence. This season manages to harness the essence of Frank Miller's seminal work on the character, and in doing so elevates the series once more to unparalleled narrative heights. Normal audiences can of course appreciate its nuances, but it's ol' Horn-head's biggest fans who'll have had the most edifying of experiences viewing the show on their couch of choice. Obviously, spoilers follow.
