In fact, there's only really one other actor who's the more obvious choice to play Bullseye. With his critically acclaimed Justified TV show drawing to a close and the Hitman series of films moving on without him, there's a wide-open window in Timothy Olyphant's schedule. One just asking to be filled by an antagonist role on Daredevil. Olyphant is just about within Netflix's wheelhouse with regards tot he level of star power they've brought to Daredevil and their other original series so far. He's played a bald, psychopathic hitman before in...well, Hitman, the slightly naff adaptation of the video game series of the same name. It's Justified that really convinced people of Olyphant's acting skills, though, after a few clunkers like Hitman and Die Hard 4.0. Based on an Elmore Leonard short story, the FX series saw the actor star as a US Marshal using some slightly unconventional, off-the-book methods to keep the peace in his small Kentucky hometown. Thing is, Olyphant looks like a bad guy. He just does. Even as a nominal hero in Justified. He's also highly capable of playing a guy who's completely off his rocker. And who doesn't want to see him and Charlie Cox wrestle?
