Michael Mann's Blackhat was, for the most part, a total embarrassment. The latest in a long line of Hollywood films about computer hacking directed by an old man who doesn't understand computers, it was mostly an occasion for Chris Hemsworth to stare at lines of code on monitors instead of punching people. Then punching people. It wasn't a total wash, however. With Hong Kong being a major setting in the film, the film's cast was evenly split between Western and Chinese actors, with Wang Leehom sharing top billing with Hemsworth. Born in New York, Wang Leehom has found success in both films and music in the US and in China. Perhaps most crucially, he's starred alongside Jackie Chan in 2010's Little Big Soldier, and in Ang Lee's Lust, Caution. He's an actor who is rising in popularity, who has a track record of both barnstorming dramatic roles and being capable of handling himself in highly-choreographed action scenes. He's a shoo-in to play Bullseye, surely?
