Daredevil Season 2: 10 Actors Who Could Play Bullseye
3. Jack Huston
So far, Daredevil hasn't felt like another entry in the colourful, blockbuster, family-friendly Marvel Cinematic Universe. No, it's got more in common with a gritty, prestige HBO crime drama. In which case, why not look to a gritty, prestige HBO crime drama when casting for it? Jack Huston's star is rising currently thanks to a recurring role in Boardwalk Empire. Martin Scorsese's prohibition-era show was a little inconsistent, but the performances throughout were uniformly great. Huston as severely disfigured war vet-turned-gang enforcer Richard Harrow was a highlight, with the actor embodying a character who was in turns both haunted and haunting. Which is probably why they cast him in a remake of The Crow but, c'mon. They've remade The Crow about ten times. This one isn't going to take off. Far better for Huston to tie his colours to the mast of a comic book adaptation that's already successful, by parleying his scary Harrow performance into a supervillain who's also known for his marksmanship.
