Daredevil Season 2: 10 Things That Must Happen

2. Bullseye

Daredevil
Marvel Comics

While Typhoid Mary and Mr Fear would be exciting additions to Daredevil, they aren't the number one villain in The Man Without Fear's universe. That honour definitely belongs to Bullseye, the psychopathic assassin with deadly accuracy who can kill a person with any object in a room. Bullseye never misses, which makes him a compelling adversary for a blind superhero.

While it's true that Bullseye did appear in the 2003 movie, portrayed with manic and cartoonish glee by a young Colin Farrell, any version of the character that makes an appearance in the TV show is likely to be significantly different than Farrell's interpretation.

Bullseye is the Joker to Daredevil's Batman; his ultimate arch-nemesis. He has been responsible for many of the worst atrocities committed on Matt Murdock's friends and family over the years. In fact, in the comic books, Bullseye murders Karen Page.

Bullseye's twisted origins have also been delved into in the miniseries' Greatest Hits, from 2004. Functioning in a similar way to The Killing Joke (one of the definitive Joker stories), Greatest Hits supplies a possible origin story for Bullseye, but leaves it open to interpretation as it's always hinted at that he could be lying about everything. It's mouth-watering to think about what the TV shows creative team could do with Bullseye and his backstory.
