2. No Kingpin?

Season one of Daredevil concluded with The Kingpin behind bars, and if you're wondering why we've so far heard nothing about Vincent D'Onofrio reprising the role of Wilson Fisk for season two, it might have something to do with the fact that he's not expected to make any sort of appearance. That's what Entertainment Weekly says anyway, and if true, that's definitely a surprising move on Marvel's part. While the show still has plenty to deal with in the form of new additions like Elektra and The Punisher (not to mention the threat The Hand poses), ditching that villain feels like a major blunder and missed opportunity. Whether it's the reveal that he's the one who brought Elektra to New York City by hiring her to do his bidding or him getting released from prison in the finale to hopefully set up some sort of adaptation of "Born Again" in season three, I would definitely expected to see Fisk factor into season two of Daredevil in some way. However, it's now become clear that he'll be far from the focus in the second year of this series.
