One of the most fascinating things about Daredevil and The Punisher's comic book adventures is how writers have explored the differences and similarities between them over the years. While Matt detests the vigilante's penchant for playing judge, jury, and executioner, Frank remains convinced that Daredevil is one day going to become exactly like him and will have no other choice than to do so. The TV show will also be playing on that according to co-showrunner Marco Ramirez. "He has a different moral code. Matt is a devout Catholic and you rarely see a character whos a devote anything on TV. Frank has Hammurabis Code. Its like letting a great white shark into the water." So, these two will clearly be butting heads then, but could they end up putting their differences aside in order to work together? That remains to be seen, but Marvel couldn't have chosen a better place to reboot The Punisher than in Daredevil's corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
