With the targeting of Matt's old friends likely to bring him out of hiding, it should be a given that Fisk finally puts two and two together and discovers that he's the Devil he's been dancing with all along.
Again, fans of the character's comics will know that this shift in relationship sparks one of the medium's most formidable rivalries. As the stakes are raised, Murdock and Fisk battle with each other literally every year, beating the opposite to within an inch of their lives on countless occasions.
Make no mistake, once the penny drops for Fisk, viewers will be in for a torrid time. The thought that his two most hated adversaries are actually one in the same is going to cause him no end of grief, and with his methods being as violent as they are, expect Matt - and his allies - to bear the brunt of his rage.
Fisk was already pretty incensed by the time Daredevil's second season came to a close, so with even more knowledge in his midst, things could be about to get really ugly.
