With news of Wilson Bethel having been cast as a version of Bullseye while he's on the FBI, and bearing in mind Fisk's connections to law enforcement, the pieces could be in place to bring to life one of Daredevil's most notorious adversaries - even if the chance of a showdown with Elektra is now off the table.

Bullseye is a character who, at this stage in his career, needs no introduction. Played by Colin Farrell in the forgettable 2003 Daredevil movie, the villain started out life as something of a joke character in Frank Miller's run on the main Daredevil comic. It was only when he killed Elektra in a contest to prove he was the more capable assassin for Fisk, that he took on a new level of notoriety.

Bullseye is the only character more synonymous with Daredevil than Fisk, and if rumours of him appearing in Season 3 are correct, he's likely to do something rather bad indeed.

Meeting a villain of equal skill is the only thing that could possibly bring Matt out of hiding, and if he's targeting Foggy and Karen, something even worse might be in store.
