Daredevil Season 3: 8 Things You Need To Know

4. Wilson Bethel Will Play Bullseye

Kingpin may be the definitive Daredevil villain, but he's not just a Daredevil villain. Wilson Fisk was originally introduced to be one of Spider-Man's biggest foes, but - over time - he became synonymous with the Man Without Fear. One antagonist that Matt Murdock most definitely does not have to debate ownership of, however, is Bullseye - the man who built his reputation on the death of Elektra.

Wilson Bethel was cast in the role just over a year ago, and while we're yet to actually see the character in any of the marketing thus far, that should probably be taken as a sign that he's set to have a prominent role. What's more is that the show is said to be offering a different take on the character - one potentially inspired by Jason Aaron's stint on Punisher MAX - which saw the villain start out as a government agent.

Bethel's role had been kept under wraps until a few months ago, when a fitness instructor included an image with him and Charlie Cox together with the hashtags "daredevil and bullseye". Before that, That Hashtag Show claimed that Bethel's Bullseye would be inspired by the aforementioned interpretation in Punisher MAX, so expect this version to differ slightly (hopefully majorly) from Colin Farrell's.
