Who would have thought way back in 2008 that the release of Iron Man, a movie based on a character that almost no member of the public had actually heard of, would herald the beginning of a sprawling cinematic universe that has still yet to be matched in terms of scale?
Thanks in large part to the critical and creative mind of producer Kevin Feige, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has gone from strength to strength and has been able to tell a great deal of individual stories in a highly connected world that feels truly alive.
One of the most critically acclaimed TV shows set in this universe is Daredevil, which premiered on Netflix in 2015. This was a darker take on the MCU, featuring more complex characters like Matt Murdock, Wilson Fisk and, of course, Karen Page.
Karen was given shades of grey to the way she acted that sometimes left the audience wondering whether they should always be rooting for her. But even if you disagreed with her actions, you were always happy to see her on-screen and eager to know what she would do next.
