DC's Legends Of Tomorrow Season 2: 6 Ups And 4 Downs From 'Out Of Time'

2. Super Strength Battery?

Jax Legends
The CW

Whilst it was undoubtedly fun to find Rip Hunter’s Legends team all dotted throughout time itself, there was one major bug bear with the Firestorm pairing of Jax and Martin Stein.

Where these two were concerned, we find them being used as some sort of wizards-cum-jesters for a young ruler of ye olde England. And what is their big trick? Why, it’s the magical mirror that Jax has – also simply known as his cell phone.

This was a cute trick from the show, and one that gave a chuckle to a few, but it’s hard to not just be baffled by how this would even be possible. You have to remember, Rip dropped his Legends team into various time periods with nothing but their actual selves. As in, no tech equipment and certainly nothing capable of keeping any sort of mobile phone device charged up.

It may seem a minor gripe, but surely I can’t be the only one who thought it was ridiculous that Jax’s phone would still have battery life after being stuck in ye olden times for so long?
