DC's Legends Of Tomorrow Season 2: 6 Ups And 4 Downs From 'Out Of Time'

4. Sara And Ray

Sara Lance Ray Palmer
The CW

One of the constants of Legends of Tomorrow’s debut season was the brilliant, brooding bromance between Brandon Routh’s Ray Palmer and Wentworth Miller’s Leonard Snart. With Snart out of the picture (for now…), that dynamic is no longer in play. Luckily though, Out of Time put the relationship between Sara and Ray in the spotlight.

Sara may not have a past as an out-and-out villain like Snart, but her character has enough dark aspects and rough edges to perfectly contrast the naive boy scout act of Ray Palmer… or as Sara labels him, the self-righteous rich guy.

Throughout the history of TV and film, the notion of conflicting personalities and odd couples is something that has always intrigued and entertained. With Ray now no longer having Captain Cold or Hawkgirl to play off, putting more focus on his relationship with Sara Lance would be a smart move for Legends of Tomorrow’s second season, so here’s hoping that’s something that continues to be addressed as the season progresses.
