This first episode took us back to 1975, and had some fun with the era, in particular the music and fashion. It perhaps didn't quite give itself over to the period setting as it perhaps could have, but there were some good moments, with the bar-room fight scene soundtracked to Love Will Keep Us Together being one of the absolute highlights of the episode. Savage is also seen in 1975, although he's in Norway getting his hands on some massive warhead (which might help him out with #3 on this list), but the Legends are on their way to somewhere else in time. Now that is an area where the show can really be inventive and stand apart from other superhero shows, including its siblings. We already know there will be an Old West episode, but where else could they go? The Victorian era was mentioned, so perhaps there, but there's an endless amount of options. Just not Ancient Egypt, because this show and Arrow/The Flash somehow managed to make that look really dull. What did you make of the first Legends of Tomorrow episode? Will you be back for more? A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
