DC's Legends Of Tomorrow New Trailer: 16 Things You Need To See

14. The Waverider

Next up is our first glimpse of Rip Hunter's ship of choice, The Waverider (or WR-2055 to give it its technical title). Arriving from the far future, Hunter is a man who travels in style, and his time ship has a name that long-time DC fans will be familiar with. In the comic book realm, Waverider was at one point a hero who had a pivotal part to play in the huge Zero Hour story. Bringing things forward to a post-New 52 world, Waverider is a name taken on by Booster Gold€ the cocky, sponsorship-adorned, insta-smiling, time-travelling hero who is actually Rip€™s father. This look at The Waverider wasn€™t the first time the vessel has been referenced in The CW€™s shared hero universe, with Eobard Thawne giving a shout out to the ship during The Flash€™s Season 1 finale. What€™s even more impressive about Hunter€™s time ship is that it can be made invisible, a trait that mirrors Wonder Woman€™s famed Invisible Jet.
