DC's Legends Of Tomorrow Season 1: 8 Ups And 5 Downs From 'Progeny'

2. The Standoff

Another big plus point of Progeny was the final act standoff between Rip Hunter’s Legends and Tor Degaton’s goons. Key to how great this part was, was the tension between Hunter and Vandal Savage.

Whilst Savage has a blade to Sara Lance’s throat and would love nothing better than to spill her blood, his hands are tied as he’s under the instructions of Tor. As such, a miffed Savage begrudgingly hands over Sara in exchange for Per Degaton. And throughout all of this, Savage and Hunter barely take their eyes off each other as both of their wishes are hampered by the situation that they find themselves in.

We know that something big is obviously ahead for Vandal Savage and Rip Hunter, with the two surely set to come to blows once more, and this tense standoff only added further to the intrigue surrounding any upcoming butting of heads between the pair.
