DC's Legends Of Tomorrow Season 1: 8 Ups And 5 Downs From 'Progeny'

11. Ray Palmer's Moping

Firstly, I think Brandon Routh is absolutely fantastic in what he does with the Ray Palmer character. That said, his moping here started to get a little much.

Sure, Palmer is the guy whose glass is always half full, he is a beacon of hope and positivity, and he does he best to see the silver lining in every single cloud, but his act started to get a little annoying here. Granted, he believed that he'd had a child that he never knew about, but Ray still started to grate by the time the episode was halfway in.

Upon believing that he must’ve left some girl pregnant back in 2016, The Atom’s moral compass starts causing chaos for his brain, leading to much whining from the usually vibrant Ray Palmer. Palmer reacting like this was totally in character and totally made sense, but this episode just seemed to try too hard to hammer this particular point home.
