5. It's Shockingly Dull

Though many of theses issues could be somewhat forgiven if Titans were fun or interesting, perhaps the worst sin it commits is simply being incredibly dull and boring.

Robin, for instance, basically acts out the risible cliches of a police procedural TV show for most of his run-time yet with no self-awareness whatsoever, while Starfire's Vienna excursion feels plodding and drawn-out while revealing precious little about the character.

It's just too low-energy to be much memorable or even basically intriguing, and considering how first impressions count for a lot, it's an extremely discouraging sign for the show moving forward.
