8. Evangeline Lilly

This one is probably a real outside shot, since Lilly has stated in the past that she isn't doing any more television roles €“ in fact she hasn't done any since Lost ended. But that might just mean that she doesn't want to do the 26 episodes a year trawl, and could be persuaded into ten or twelve episodes a year if the time frame suits her. Sure Lost got a bit crazy. At times it was doing somersaults over a shark while on a motorbike, and the Kate character was infuriating at times, but Lilly's performances were reliably good. She got nominated what must be an incredibly annoying six times for best actress on television at the Saturn awards and never won €“ in fact she was nominated a whole bunch of times for awards for playing Kate on Lost and yet only ever won a gong as part of the ensemble group. That bites, because she deserved better. She showed with Lost that she appreciated a character with depth. Jessica Jones has equal depth to Kate, if not more. Like with Kunis, she would bring that known actress to the role and highlight the Jones series as one to watch €“ but for less money than Kunis would ask for. Plus, I think she'd be better in the role than Kunis too. It just hinges on whether or not the role and the timescales could lure Lily back to television or not. Also we're going to get flashbacks to Jessica Jones' history as Jewel at some point, and I just don't picture Lilly dressed as an actual superhero somehow.
