3. Alison Brie
Alison Brie is a good actress one that has only shown a few sides of what we would expect from Jessica Jones, but I feel somehow confident that she could do it and do a good job. Plus, she'd be an incredibly popular choice remember the reaction to
the photoshopped image of her as Captain America? Brie currently appears as a main cast member in Community and is a recurring star in Mad Men. But Mad Men is ending soon-ish, with two rather short seasons to go which will apparently all be filmed at the same time. The absence of her other series then leaves a gap in her diary in which she could appear as Jones. She also hasn't been in the main cast herself in anything yet, but I don't think such a role would phase her at all. She comes across as incredibly charismatic in Community, and I think Jessica Jones could be the star turn that could push her forward into leading roles in films. Also, it could be filmed in such a manner that it wouldn't interfere with that film career. Plus, Community is going to get cancelled eventually. I love the show, but every year there is press about it being canned at some point it'll come true. Brie might very well see the Jessica Jones series as being an investment both to cover her in case Community finally ends, and also to give her a step between her success in that series and a potential film career. All in all, Alison Brie is pretty hard to dislike. Plus, they could do an alternative timeline version where Jessica Jones becomes Captain America... and the photoshopped image would no longer be required.
