8. Michael Jai White
Michael Jai White has long been one of the fan favourites to play the role of Cage, ever since rumours of the character's potential live action adaptation first surfaced a few years ago. The martial arts expert has also declared that he would be interested, as long as the script was good and it didn't "suck" in general. He has the screen presence, the combat prowess, the build and the looks for the role and, having starred in movies like Black Dynamite, Blood and Bone, the Mortal Kombat movies and Universal Soldier: The Return, he's not averse to action and kicking ass. Of course, Jai White also portrayed Al Simmons/Spawn in the critically slammed Spawn movie in 1997, which could both aid or hinder his case to play Cage, depending on how you look at it - but there's no doubt he's got the chops for the role if he's called upon to play it.
