4. Terry Crews
Although Terry Crews has had quite a lot to say about why he wouldn't want to play Luke Cage, the fact is that quite a lot of what he's said is wrong, so he could be convinced to change his mind.
"I think everybody's is forcing this 'Power Man,' Luke Cage thing. Man, it's obvious, Marvel, for some reason, is not getting down with it. He's being ignored. Hey man, he was probably in the 'Avengers.' What can I say? You can't force it on him. The market's going to tell you what's going on. So apparently they felt like, 'we don't really have to.'"
But the fact is, Terry, that Marvel DO want to portray Luke Cage in live action and the fans DO want to see him and, most importantly, he IS going to be cast very soon for this miniseries. Crews has also said that he'd prefer to play an original superhero character rather than an existing one - something he can create for himself - but has also said that "if it's right for me, it's right" with regards to having his mind changed on the matter. If Marvel want him and can convince him that Cage is a popular character who they have big plans for, there's no reason why he couldn't do it. Crews has seen plenty of action in the likes of the Expendables movies and has played enforcer characters in movies like Baadasssss!
