1. Dexter Needs To Stop Being A Serial Killer
The only way to properly end this show would be to take the lead from the previous point I made and use that as a way of getting Dexter to opt out of his life as a serial killer. An overwriting of this through the coming together of his worlds where he realises he is good, he is more than what his dad made him and he turns his investigative skills into using it for the best for Miami Metro. Practically as well; the show cant end with him still as a serial killer. As long as he still does that there are still stories to be told and it will become an annoying episodic series like CSI or something of that ilk. For me, an effective TV show has to have a journey in it, the journey in this is from the tortured soul of a man who witnessed the death of his mother into the man who can now love, can now care and protect in a way he never felt he could. This would be a great direction to take Dexter to give him the conclusion weve all been rooting for.
