The Role: Played Rita from season one until she was killed by the Trinity Killer at the end of season four.
After Benz left the series, she spent the next several years bouncing between film and television roles, most notably alongside Michael Chiklis in ABC's cancelled No Ordinary Family and in CBC's also-cancelled Patrick Wilson-led drama A Gifted Man. In 2013, she joined the main cast of Syfy's Defiance, which concluded its third season last month.
