6. Season Three
I recently decided to re-watch every episode of Dexter in preparation for the final season. Half way through season three I thought to myself, am I going to miss anything if I just skip the rest of this season? The answer of course, was no. Season three wasnt necessarily bad, it certainly had its moments (Masuka kidnapping Dexter is one of the shows funniest moments) but it was just terribly forgettable. Miguel was not a great antagonist, not in comparison to those wed been given in the first two seasons and the whole tree surgeon thing was just silly. In terms of development, season three saw Dexter get married and Quinn arrive on the scene, another two reasons why this season is ranked second to bottom on this list.
