Doctor Who: 10 Epic Matt Smith Moments Peter Capaldi Won't Top

2. I. Am. Talking!

In The Pandorica Opens, Matt Smith established himself with one of the most powerful monologues in Who history. Unfortunately, unlike in his debut episode, words alone couldn't save him this time. But it wouldn't be Doctor Who if our resident Time Lord could talk his way out of every predicament, would it? With all of his enemies gathered in their spaceships above him, Smith strode into the middle of Stonehenge and shouted into the darkening sky. "So if you're sitting up there in your silly little spaceship with all your silly little guns and you've got any plans on taking the Pandorica tonight, just remember who's standing in your way. Remember every black day I ever stopped you. And then... and then! Do the smart thing. Let somebody else try first."
