1. His Companions Have No Life Away From The Doctor
It's a comment that's made not just about Moffat's sexism, but of his writing. We can't believe his companions, because they don't have a life of their own; look at River. Her life revolves around the Doctor. Amy Pond chose to leave the Doctor for her husband. She didn't have a family, so she ran away with her childhood hero, but as she settled down, she learned that she didn't need the Doctor as much as she thought. Clara only travels with the Doctor on her terms: when she chooses. She doesn't run on out on the people she loves. And even though River presumably became an archaeologist to find the Doctor, she loved it enough to become a professor. She declined travelling with him in 'The Angels Take Manhattan'. She had adventures of her own, and she didn't need to spend all the time with him. Rose and Donna both told the Doctor they'd travel with him forever; Martha, who left him, followed a career that he'd want her to follow. You can't imagine Clara doing that though. You can level many criticisms at Moffat, but not this.
