Doctor Who: 10 Ways To Improve The Show

3. Give The Tardis A Make-Over

Doctor Who 11th Tardis Let's do something revolutionary with the production design of the Tardis €“ each new Doctor has been getting a more high-tech looking front room. Despite the day-glo colors and glass everywhere, it seems a bit been-there, done-that. I loved the episodes with Clara roaming around the backstage areas of the Tardis that we rarely see €“ the swimming pool, library etc. It would be fun to have the entry-way like a normal living room and a big window that looked outside. Or, very minimalistic but with holographic/kaleidoscopic colors that morph and change, depending on the mood of the Tardis. Or, an old bedsit from another decade, which has a pristine, shiny control area up a sweeping central staircase. Or a grand throne room with marble and mahogany. Just something unexpected and whimsical would be cool and appreciated, and provide us with that sense of wonder we got when they rejigged the Tardis for the Eleventh back in The Eleventh Hour. Just please, don't add more bells and whistles to the same thing €“ this should be an opportunity to do something extremely different.
