In hindsight The Eleventh Doctor's tenure really was a mixed bag, wasn't it? A bit of silliness, a good helping of complexity, some incredible dramatic performances and, along the way, lots and lots of genuinely funny moments. Matt Smith is a very clever actor and as the Eleventh Doctor he was a dab hand at flitting between serious and flippant, dramatic and comedic. Often he made the transition in the blink of an eye; sometimes he could be both at the same time. Apparently time heals and it's been some little time now since we bid farewell to Eleven. With the tissues out of reach and the broken hearts of millions of inconsolable fans slowly mending, let's turn our attention to eleven of the funniest moments from the most wonderfully silly of the thirteen silly Doctors.
