Doctor Who: 5 War Doctor Battles They Could Show Next

Doctor Who 50th Im Ready We've all undoubtedly devoured ' The Day Of The Doctor' by this point in time, but there's a big question that still needs answering. Namely what the bandolier-clad badass incarnation otherwise known as the War Doctor was doing between 'The Name Of The Doctor' and the day he finally got to taste what it was like to be worthy of the name/ title of ' Doctor' again. Where were/could his greatest battles have been and how they played out is a fascinating question ripe for exploration. Of course, most might see the whole timeline issue as a problem. Is he hero or villain? But surely that duality is potentially a gift for writers to tackle. He could go one, both or either ways and that's why he deserves a chance to shine beyond acting as a Time War transitional form between the Eighth and Ninth Doctors. There's a method to the madness in that if Gallifrey does indeed stand then surely so must its greatest soldier ( in every sense of the word). After all, it takes a special kind of Time Lord to turn his TARDIS into a weapon and indeed to use that weapon in such a manner as to ram an entire squadron of Daleks to death, yet still set in place a chain of events so cataclysmic it changes the very nature of the war the Sisterhood of Karn persuaded him to regenerate especially for. A man of reason and a fighter, and we salute him!
