Doctor Who: 8 Traits Which Made The Tenth Doctor Awesome

5. He Talks A Lot About Clom (And Other Planets)

Even though we spend a lot of time on Earth, and especially in and around London and Cardiff, we learn a great deal of geography throughout the galaxies from the Tenth Doctor. He references Raxacoricofallapatorius and Clom (my personal favourites) several times; we learn about the lost moon of Poosh and Jahoo; he details the breathtaking landscapes of Midnight. Ten also gives poetic descriptions of Gallifrey, first describing it to Martha as a beautiful planet with orange skies, red grass, and silver-leafed trees. He later explains to the Master that during the Time War, Gallifrey was hell. The Tenth Doctor brings life and character to the intangible universe through which he travels.
