Doctor Who ‘The Day Of The Doctor’: 5 Things We’d Like To See (And 5 We Wouldn’t)

9. We Wouldn't Like: Any More Doctors

Doctor Who Tom Baker With such a big celebration of Doctor Who, there was no doubt at least one or two suggestions of bringing back more of the Doctor's incarnations. I'm pretty sure at least someone at the BBC would have, at some point, said: 'Screw it, let's have them all back €“ except... Oh, right.' Yes, the main reason this would be an absolute nightmare for everyone is because the earliest incarnations of the Doctor are sadly dead. To get Tom Baker and all the rest involved would be massively disrespectful to the great actors who started it all off and are no longer with us. It would also result in some fairly sketchy in-episode logic as to why some Doctors couldn't make the party. All in all, it would be clumsy and a bit crassy €“ leave 'em out. Two Doctors are enough for anyone. Or will that be three...?
