It Is The End, But The Moment Was... Actually, A Total Surprise!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-U3jrS-uhuo On November 14, 2013, the BBC released a video. It was just under seven minutes, and featured Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor in his final adventure. In that short time he managed to gain legions of new fans with his wonderful response to being told he had only four minutes to live. We then got to witness his final moments as he bid farewell to his various companions, picked up the chalice, and became the War Doctor. The Eighth Doctor's time on TV remains all too brief. Even with these extra seven minutes, he's still had less than an hour gracing our screens. But despite that, there are more adventures and stories with the Eighth Doctor (through audio, novels, and comics), than any other Doctor. Frankly, I think that's a relatively good legacy.
