Doctor Who: 10 Answers For Steven Moffat Plotholes

5. How Did Mels Find Out Everything About The Doctor From Amy?

In 'Let's Kill Hitler', there's a whole sequence in which a young Amelia Pond tells her best friend Mels everything about the Doctor. Mels blames everything bad that's happened in the world on "The Doctor not being there to stop it", and this is implied to be the reason as to why she'll want to kill him when she grows up. That and the evil eye-patch lady brainwashing her. But how did Amy know all of that? He never mentioned any of it in 'The Eleventh Hour'. This is rather a simple explanation, but it's only answered in the dying moments of 'The Angels Take Manhattan'. The Doctor went back to the night that Amelia waited for him, and he told her stories of the two of them in the TARDIS together. Subsequently, she told Mels, Rory and everyone else who'd listen. Even Jeff, who surely deserves his own spin-off.
