1. The Trio (Buffy The Vampire Slayer)
The Trio (Andrew Wells, Warren Mears and Jonathan Levinson) are the ultimate villain wannabes. They're comic book nerds who fancy themselves as Lex Luthors/Doctor Dooms. But sadly, they just aren't even close to being the big-bads they think they are. The inventions they come up with (uber-tough sexbots, freeze rays, invisibility rays, mind-control devices etc) are quite sophisticated in the Buffyverse, but they'd be primitive to the Doctor. If he had a young son or daughter, they'd be the kind of things he'd give him or her to play with. I'm sure the Trio would relish the opportunity to go up against the Doctor (whom they probably admire hugely), and they're delusional enough to think they could compete with him but, sadly for them, he could outsmart them in his sleep. If they announced themselves as his nemeses (as they tend to do), he'd laugh heartily, take a moment to compose himself, then talk patronisingly to them for five minutes. By the time he'd finished speaking, without them even realising he'd done anything, their plans would be completely undone and the Doctor could head off on his merry way. He'd probably even give them a tour of his TARDIS due to how much he felt sorry for them.
