6. Will Missy Kill Clara?
It was ultimately revealed last year that it was Missy who gave Clara the Doctor's phone number and set them up together on the TARDIS. In The Magician's Apprentice and The Witch's Familiar she proved however that she knew the Doctor far better than Clara and looked at her with disdain at the intrepid companion, considering her not worthy of being on the same pedestal as her and the Doctor. What if she will eventually take Clara away from the Doctor too?
Missy has already threatened to hunt Clara, dropped her down a hole and trapped her in a Dalek while attempting to get the Doctor to inadvertently kill her. With Jenna Coleman leaving the show in series nine, what if it is as a result of Missy killing her for good?
The series hasn't dared go as far as kill of a companion in their prime yet; Donna's mind wipe doesn't count and Amy and Rory died of old age in the past. Given her importance to all the doctors over the last few years, how tragic would it be for the impossible girl to meet a very mortal end at the hands of someone so close to him?
