1. The Last Of The Time Lords Vs. The Last Of The Daleks
Two races bounded together by destiny. In Series 1's most iconic episodes, the Doctor and the Daleks meet again. This is one of the Ninth Doctor's best - if not the best - moment and one of Eccleston's finest performances playing the Time Lord. The Doctor doesn't hate this species - he utterly loathes them. Fans may notice the change when it comes to who is superior, especially when the Dalek is powerless. They witness the Doctor becoming slightly mad and he seems to turn from the protagonist to the antagonist. Nevertheless, this scene is crucial to both the history of the show and to the Doctor as a whole. It's something quite personal indeed. What do you think of the list?
