Doctor Who: 10 Episodes Perfect For A Film Remake

1. An Unearthly Child (First Doctor)

an uear It€™s a toughie. What episode would you adapt coming up on the 50th Anniversary of one of the most successful franchises in the history of media? What episodes are arguably the most important to the canon and universe of the show? What episodes introduce the most important aspects of that show? How about the episode that started it all, introducing the Doctor, Susan, the TARDIS and Doctor Who itself? It€™s kind of obvious when you think about it. They€™d have to add some more depth to the film version, as the concepts of Who weren€™t even properly fleshed out when the show first aired. There€™d be a lot more of Gallifrey and maybe a little less cavemen. We know now that the Doctor was advised by Clara-as-a-Time-Lady to take a separate TARDIS. We know that when he touched the console he said it was the €œmost beautiful thing€ he€™d ever seen. We know he and Susan were running away. Let€™s see those reasons. Give me some Gallifrey, Moffat. Preferably when it€™s not on fire. So those are my ten picks for a film adaptation €“ what episodes would you like to see on the big screen and why?
