5. The Reign Of Terror (First Doctor)
It seems the French Revolution holds a lot of interest for modern cinema goers, if the success of Les Mis and continued calls for a Scarlet Pimpernel adaptation are anything to go by. Viva la France and all that jazz. I dont think this adaptation should be a musical (Anne Hathaway as Barbara wouldnt go amiss though) but the scope could be widened, a budget increase would make it an epic and perhaps it would get new eyeballs onto one of the least-popular eras of Classic Who. This serial has some lost episodes, so it would be really great to see it reconstructed and reimagined, all in glorious technicolour (okay, and maybe with a couple of musical numbers.).
