9. Torchwood Is Being Continued
Ever since they were given an extended licence by the BBC, Big Finish have worked tirelessly to resurrect Torchwood. This originally began with the allotted Torchwood Monthly Range, with each story focusing on a different primary character that featured in the original televised series.
Honestly, it's shocking how many of the original cast they've managed to bring back, particularly the minor ones you'd least expect to make a comeback.
Big Finish then decided to go one step further and continue the spin-off's journey in earnest. After contacting Russell T Davies about potential ideas of where they could go with the narrative and respective characters after the events of Miracle Day, a brand-new era of Torchwood was born through Aliens Among Us.
Although we may never see Torchwood return to our television screens, know at least that the show lives on through Big Finish.
