1. A Version of His First Scene As The Doctor Involved Capaldi Rapping
And the most bizarre has been saved until last... Jenna Coleman has often spoken in praise of her co-star, calling him "a really fearless actor" and saying that he will "try anything". Well, she apparently wasn't joking as Capaldi could have begun his time on Doctor Who with a rap! According to several sources, Capaldi likes to do several takes of each scene to get a feel for the lines and the best way to play them. For his first post-regenerative scene in The Time of the Doctor he was doubly determined to get the scene right and played around with lots of ways of doing it. Proving he's just as fearless as Jenna has said, during one take he decided to attempt a rap. Obviously, this take was not used. More's the pity. While it was almost certainly a good decision not to go with that take, it would surely be a sight to behold. Here's hoping that the alternate scene will somehow end up on YouTube... In the meantime, here's also hoping that Peter Capaldi will continue giving his all to the programme for the foreseeable future. Happy birthday, Doctor! What did you think of this list?
