2. Flesh And Stone
The big difference between this and The Time of Angels is how they treat the iconic Weeping Angels. The first episode shows them as patient and scheming, like any creature which evolved so that it turns into stone should be. However, Flesh and Stone shows them moving, which just about breaks them right to the foundation of the character. Then in contrast to the focused objectives shown in the first part, this one has the characters meandering around a forest waiting for them to think of something. Its not exciting in the same way that watching someone put their feet up and thumb through a TV guide looking for something to watch isnt exciting. It fails at every level.
