It's only right that this list ends in the way it began, with another shot of the Twelfth Doctor looking particularly foreboding. This time he's in the TARDIS and it doesn't give anything away about the episode other than the fact it's going to include its fair share of eyebrow hostility, which really is the greatest present of them all. In a nutshell, this year's Christmas Special really will be one not to be missed (not that you would miss it, of course) and fans truly can't wait to see what timey-wimey treats and festive jollity the Twelfth Doctor will be bringing to the table in his first seasonal outing. Whether the episode turns out to be Clara's last Christmas, Steven Moffat's last Christmas or both or neither (you're not the only one still holding out for that Wham! crossover, by the way...), it's another testament to Doctor Who's ongoing legacy that it can still serve as the centrepiece of British television's festive line up and it's important to remember to enjoy it in the spirit in which it was intended. That's with all the monsters and mind-bending twists it may bring, proving once again that a Doctor Who Christmas is the best sort of Christmas there is. Usually not for the inhabitants of planet Earth, though. Are you looking forward to Last Christmas? Have these new pictures told you anything knew about what to expect from the festive episode?
