Doctor Who: 10 Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Skip The 9th Doctor

9. Bizarreness

Rose Autons Apart from the whole idea of the Abzorbaloff in series two, series one played host to some of the most oddball scenes and ideas I have ever seen on NuWho. It€™s weird from the get-go, with the episode €œRose€ featuring Autons - or living plastic - which animated everything from mannequins to rubbish bins. And if you thought a walking rubbish bin wasn€™t weird enough, we also saw Mickey become €˜cloned€™ by the living plastic - shortly followed by Rose€™s inability to realise that her boyfriend was now a life-sized plastic doll which squeaked with every movement. Series one also brought us people with little doors in their foreheads which open at the click of a finger, and unusually flatulent politicians who could unzip their faces to reveal giant green monsters from Raxicoricofallapatorius. You just can€™t write this kind of stuff, folks! (Well, maybe unless you€™re Russell T Davies!).

She likes tragedies, Tim Burton and tea; she believes that her spirit animal is an owl; and her life motto is "don't forget to be awesome".
