Doctor Who: 10 Things About NuWho That Don't Quite Add Up

1. So, How Did The Doctor Survive Again?

Going back to Lake Silenco for our final item in this list. In the episode The Wedding of River Song, viewers (as well as River) discover that the Doctor that everyone sees is really the Teselecta, a spaceship/time machine (kinda like the TARDIS) that takes on the shape of an android and is piloted by a miniaturised crew (including the Doctor). So, when time is restored, River ends up shooting the Teselecta instead, which is apparently so in tune with the Doctor that it actually attempts regeneration prior to being shot again and destroyed. However, if you recall the events of the first Lake Silencio, his friends immediately set the Doctor's body out to sea and burn it... Exactly how did the Doctor escape the Teselecta when it was set on fire? Yes, the frame was "barely singed" according to a later episode, but there was still fire all around him, and it appeared that Amy, Rory and River stayed for quite a while to pay their final respects to their "assumed" departed friend. Unfortunately, some things will always be a mystery. What did you think of this list? Are there any other mistakes from the revived series of Doctor Who that should've been included? As a stay at home father, I find myself with copious amounts of free time and have taken to writing as a way to give me something to do.
